Underway

The scheduled maintenance is now underway. We'll keep you updated on our progress.

Scheduled

We will be performing maintenance work on the MyTimetable hosting platform.

During this maintenance window we will update our SSL configuration to the latest recommended standards. This includes:

  • Enabling TLS 1.3.
  • Disabling 'CBC-mode ciphers'.

This change may cause calendar applications using the iCalendar-feed on very old Mac OS or iOS versions (from 2014 or before) to stop working. From our logs we have determined that this is a very, very small set of users and we feel the summer period is the best period to make this change. Any affected users will still be able to visit MyTimetable in an up-to-date browser.

During the maintenance window we will also:

  • Upgrade our Linux servers to the latest OS version.
  • Install various security-related operating system and application updates.

During these updates, your MyTimetable instance may be unavailable for about 15 minutes.

These updates have already been deployed and tested in the acceptance environments. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding this maintenance.
