The maintenance is now complete and more capacity is available for TimeEdit and Xedule customers. We hope this will resolve the issues we have been seeing, but will keep searching for further optimisations. Due to the nature of these issues we are handling them as an incident and will issue a Reason for Outage document with more details to the relevant customers next week.
Due to continuous performance issues with TimeEdit and Xedule timetables we will be bringing this maintenance forward and execute it in a moment. This will cause a short interruption for customers using TimeEdit and Xedule timetables (not for Syllabus Plus or TermTime). Our apologies for this interruption, but we feel it's better to solve this issue now than having spotty performance for the remainder of the day.
This Friday night we will be performing emergency maintenance on our TimeEdit and Xedule data platform. We will be increasing the capacity of this platform to better handle the peak load at the start of the academic year. Due to this, customer sites that are showing timetable data coming from TimeEdit or Xedule will be unavailable for about 5 minutes. Other customer sites will not be affected.
